Abstract

Modules are teaching materials that have features namely self contained, independent, adaptive, and user friendly. The characteristics are relevant to the 2013 Curriculum, approaching student centered learning. The purpose of this research is developing of Adobe Flash CC (Creative Cloud) interactive multimedia module that is validated expertly and effectively as a basic material of learning history XI high school class. This research was using development method (research & development) with ASSURE model. Data collection research used documentation techniques, observation, questionnaire and test. The subject of research involves 3 teachers of subject history and 102 students XI from 3 public high schools in Jember. The results of the interactive multimedia module study showed that, the expert validation of the field of study earned 84%, validation of the linguist score of 87%, and the validation of the media expert 89,47% learning design. Beside that, user test data 1 is obtained 86,66% and user effectiveness test 2 is obtained 65,89%. And rield test is obtained 71,39%. Thus, interactive multimedia modules have been tested expertly and effectively used as learning resource teaching materials.Keywords: Interactive Multimedia Module, Adobe Flash CC (Creative Cloud), ASSURE model

Abstract

The construction of steam power plant Paiton in 1982 in Paiton Sub-district Probolinggo District is a powerhouse established by the government with the help of foreign capital or private companies aimed at fulfilling the electricity needs in Java and Bali. The construction of steam power plant Paiton is the beginning of a change of equilibrium in a Binor village system. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact caused by the development construction of steam power plant Paiton. The impact construction of steam power plant Paiton development has positive and negative impacts on the socio-economic life of the Binor Village community, such as impacts on people's livelihoods, education, regional infrastructure and social interaction which will lead to significant changes to the life of the Binor Village community before and after the construction of steam power plant Paiton.Keywords: The impact of PLTU Paiton, Socio-economic life

Abstract

Gus Dur is one of the renewed figures of modernization of Islam in Indonesia, one of which which received deep attention from Gus Dur is the modernization of education within the Islamic Boarding School body which is considered to be able to compete and adapt to the changing times. The formulation of the problem to be studied is as follows; (1) what factors influenced Gus Dur's thinking about the modernization of Islamic Boarding School education ?, (2) how did Gus Dur's thinking about the modernization of Islamic Boarding School education ?, (3) how did Abdurrahman's struggle to realize his thinking about the modernization of Islamic Boarding School education ?. This study uses the sociology of knowledge, while the theory used is the theory of Hermeneutics. The result of this research is some conception about the division in the field of Islamic education that will provide progress for Islamic Boarding School education in the future.Keywords: Islamic Boarding School, Modernization of Education

Abstract

provided a variety of school education for indigneous people to obtain education. The error in this research is how is the education politics background education in Java the national movement of 1908-1928 ?, how is the system of education in Java the national movement of 1908-1928 ?. This research aimed to decrypt education in Java the national movement of 1908-1928. This research method is using historical research method by using approach of sociology of education. The benefits of this research, is expected to increase knowledge and can be used as a source of learning and can be used as a reference for further research. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is first, Political education of Dutch colonial government in Java year 1908-1928 and education system in Java during national movement year 1908-1928.

Abstract

Social and economic movement in this case is a change in the community around the tomb of Gus Dur at Cukir village years 2009-2016 towards the better. The changes that occurred in the economy is evident impact on income and the improvement of the education of children around the tomb, say previous earnings ranging between Rp. 1,500,000 monthly increase of around Rp. 2,000,000 every weekend. While social changes seen from the kind of occupations, how interact people around the tomb interact to sellers from outside the Cukir village and enterprise spirit of communities around the tomb, for example changes in the type of occupations from agricultural sector into the trade sector. The problems that were examined are: (1) how is the socio-economic conditions before 2009? (2) what are the factors that cause social and economic movement? (3) how the socio-economic movement around the family tomb complex in the village of Gus Dur Cukir years 2009-2016?. The purpose of this study are: (1) to assess the socio-economic conditions of society before 2009; (2) to examine factors that cause social and economic movement; (3) to assess the socio-economic changes of society around the family tomb complex in the village of Gus Dur Cukir years 2009-2016. This study used heuristic method with the stage of history, criticism, interpretation and historiography. Abstract

The use of information technology has brought negative effects for students. Nowdays, students have less interaction with people and act anti-socially. The first analysis of students’ social attitude by using 5 indicators are tolerating , cooperating, social care, sense of brotherhood, and appreciating achievement achieved the minimimun score showed that the result was 34,7%.The learning achievemectnt incognitive domain was 22%. Trough this study, it is expected that the use of Quantum Learning model will improve students’ social attitude and learning result. This classroom action research uses Hopkins model and qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was done in three cycles with 22 students as the subjects. The data collection methods used in this research were observation, questionnaire, essay test, interview, and documentation. It was found that the average percenatges of students’ social attitude were 34,7% in pre-cycle and 52,46% in cycle 1. It increased as much as 17% and became 71,32% in cycle 2. In cycle 3, the average percentage increased as much as 3,4% and became 79%. Students’ learning result was measured through tests on cognitive aspects that were done at the end of each cycle. The percentage of students’ learning achievement were 22% in pre-cycle, 45,4% in cycle 1, and 59,09% in cycle 2. In the third cycle, the percentage increased and became86,3%.These results show that through this research, students social attitude and learning results were improved with Implementation of Quantum Learning Model.Keywords: Quantum Learning, social attitude, students' learning result

Abstract

The deficiency of education quality has become a main issue in improving the nation. A measure which can be attempted to deal with the issue is dealing with several factors which block learning program achievements. Concept attainment model is a teaching strategy focuses upon concept attachment towards students by engaging samples from lesson presented. Those samples will likely be presented prior to learning orientation, then teacher commands students to observe and grasp the content. Observation process towards samples will construct students’ abstraction, thus they obtain the picture which relates to the next lesson. This classroom action research was conducted at least 2 cycle, in which each cycle involves 4 stages namely planning, implementation, observation, and relection. The reseacher concludes that concept attainment learning model application is able to improve students’ learning outcome dan simplifies students to present and understand concept truthfulness of citizenship (PKn) subject topic State Institution. This learning model is considered to be helpful in improving students of all ages upon understanding map concept and hypothesis examination practice.Keywords : Learning Outcomes, Concept Attainment Learning Model

Abstract

Ethical political in Indonesia brings the effect on the appearance of modern organization.Modern organization has a leader who was very influential with the method of struggle toindependence day that was Soekarno and Hatta. But, there was different way in a struggleleading organization. The pupose of this research were: (1) to study the background/factors that make a difference about struggle strategy of Soekarno and Hatta toward theindependence of indonesia in the national movement era, (2) to study the thought aboutstrategy struggle of Soekarno and Hatta toward independence of Indonesia in an era of thenational movement and (3) to study the impact of the difference thought about strategystruggle of Soekarno and Hatta toward independence of Indonesia to whole of the nationalmovement. A theory that used in this research were a theory hermeneutika and sociologyknowledge approach. The methods used in this research were heuristic, critic,interpretation, and historiography. Abstract

The purpose of learning history is to increase the nationalism of students. Teachers should facilitate students in order to gain the students’ nasionalism. The purpose of this research is to improve the students’ nationalism by using the method of socio-drama through the history lesson in class XII IPS 2 of MAN 2 Jember in 2017/2018 academic year. There were 30 students as the research participants. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was started from February to November 2017. The results of this research found that there was an improvement of the students’ nationalism. The improvement of students’ Nationalism were shown from the indicator of nasinalism they were; love of the nation and the country, on pre-cyle= 67,16%, on the cyle I= 75%, and on the cyle II= 83,66%; awere have a nation is one nation of Indonesia, on the pre-cyle= 68.37%, on the cyle I= 74,48%, and on the cyle II= 83,14%; aware having state of Indonesia, on the pre-cyle= 70,23%, on the cyle I= 74,64%, and on the cyle II= 84,16%.Keywords: Socio-Drama Method; Nationalism; History Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Learning material used by learners in learning have not been able to grow the ability to reveal and discover their own and construct their understanding. Different ability of understanding and limited time in implementing learning in school resulted in learners unable to learn independently and directed and learn to solve problems systematically. For that the need for the use of innovative teaching materials in the form of module-based inquiry. Through the use of this inquiry-based module, learners are expected to develop their ability to learn through their own initiative and be able to silve problems critical, logical, and analytical learning so that they can formulate their own inventions full confidence. This study indentifies the student's needs analysis of the innovative teaching materials that learners want. This type of research is development research. Expert validation inthis research is learning design expert, learning material expert and linguist. Research subjects in small group test as 10 children, big group test as 2 class in school faithful. Data collection techniques: observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. Student needs analysis of inquiry-based module was obtained by questionnaire dispersion in three school with class selection in low learning category. The needs anaysis of learners measured through qu etionnaires produced data with a presentation of needs of 78%. The results of validation of 60% design learning experts, 82% learning material experts and 82% language validation. One to one test result is 91%, small group test in SMAN 5 Jember class XI IIS 2 get t test (2,55) and SMAN Plus Sukowono class XI IIS 1 obtained t test (2,83). Large group test in SMAN 5 Jember class XI IIS 1 obtained data t test (2,83), class XI IIS 2 obtained data t test (3,16). Large group test in SMAN Plus Sukowono clas XI IIS 1 was obtained t test (3,16) and class XI IIS 2 t test (2,91).Keywords: Learning Resources, Inquiry-Based Modules
